With over 35 years’ experience in the civil aviation sector, Papa Diery SENE holds an MBA, a Master’s degree in Audit and Management Control, as well as several certificates and diplomas in financial management from a number of universities and institutes (New-York University, CESAG & ISM Dakar etc.).

Holding the prestigious joint accreditation of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the Airport Council International (ACI) in International Airport Management (IAP/AMPAP), he has held senior positions in the field of finance, as well as with several specialized institutions and organizations in the aviation sector.

Papa Diery SENE notably co-chaired the Transfer Committee (Economics, Environment, Institutional Model and Connectivity) from Léopold Sédar SENGHOR Airport (LSS) to Blaise Diagne International Airport (AIBD) in 2017, served as Treasurer of ACI-Africa from 2008 to 2018, and currently represents the Africa Region on the ACI Airport Committees: Economics (2008-2018) and Airport Safety/Security (2020-2026).

Member of the Association des Anciens Enfants de Troupe du Prytanée Militaire de Saint-Louis (Senegal), Commander of the National Order of the Lion, Papa Diery SENE is an international expert on economic, financial and security issues in the airport sector.
